Why do we Power Wash?
In weather conditions and busy cities, like Vancouver, a build-up of contaminants often occur on our exterior surfaces. Some examples are, mold, dirt, pollen, and dust. All these must be removed prior to starting the project.
Is Power Washing Necessary?
Not all the time! Smaller projects may not require power washing or are only need in specific areas.
Some situations include: painting door frames, window frames, doors, or areas that have strip wood surfaces, as it will cause damage.
When will we Power Wash?
In most situations, SN Consulting will power wash the surfaces one week prior to the beginning of the painting process. However, we adjust to the weather forecast and we may power wash as little as one day before if we believe the surface will dry sufficiently in a short period of time.
Power Washing Process
1. The First Step
The first step in our process is to apply our chemical to loosen dirt and mold. Our surface detergent will be washed away during the power-washing process.
2. The Right Equipment
At SN Consulting we work with state-of-the-art pressure washing equipment for the job. Special cleaners will be applied to eliminate heavy grease and contaminants if special considerations are required.
3. What can we Power-wash?
We are only able to offer pressure washing on metals and limited concrete surfaces. We cannot apply high-pressure streams to strip wood surfaces as it will damage it.
